GENERIC DESCRIPTION
KORAMEL ZINC CHROMATE PRIMER SS206 based on
oil modified alkyd resin formulation is suitable for use on prepared ferrous and
non-ferrous surfaces.
RECOMMENDED USES
As an anti-corrosive primer on pre-treated
or weathered zinc, aluminium and other light metal. As a priming coat on
structural steelworks, pipes and industrial machinery
FEATURES
Adheres excellently on clean metal and provides a sound base for subsequent
finishing coat. Effective long term corrosion control.

SURFACE PREPARATION
All exposed metal must be immediately primed to prevent initial corrosion. For
new surfaces, use organic solvent to remove oil or grease. Ferrous surfaces, new
or repainted, use sandpaper, wire brush or sand blasting to remove corrosion.
For repainted, non-ferrous surfaces, spot prime exposed surface with a suitable
primer.
